9 month appointment

We had your well baby check up this week and you were just about 29 inches, 17 # 11 oz probably less in real life because I gave you a HUGE bowl of oatmeal for breakfast AND a granola bar and milk in the waiting room. You were still in the 80 + percentile for height but dropped into the 30's for your weight... So, I gave you a doughnut for breakfast today. :)

Busy little girl...

You are such a busy little girl Hananh Grace. Momma gets you up every morning just after 6AM to get ready for school and then you get to ride the bus to Sheree's.  Some days you go to town with her, some days you just get to "relax" and climb all over everything in her house. The best busy days though are the days when Momma gets to keep you home with her; and we get to cook together, sing songs in the kitchen, and play with all your toys.

Hannah don't eat that!!!

Hannah today you had your first, and hopefully last ride in an ambulance.

You were at the babysitters and all of a sudden you started gagging and choking and trying to throw up. Within an hour you had written in the ambulance all the way to the hospital in Idaho Falls. They gave you a little bit of oxygen (like momma had when she had you). You were looking a little better so they let me give you a tiny bit of milk after the oxygen.  Right after you drank it though you threw it up all over the nice warming blanket they had brought you. At first glance (yes we had to dig through your throw up) we didn't see any sort of plastic or wood. Momma thought you seemed to be doing better though because you were blowing raspberries and even giving momma and the doctors a few smiles. After another hour or so a second doctor came in to have a look at your throw up blanket and as soon as he opened it up there it was!

The tiny little piece of plastic from a dvd case wrapper. It was such a long and scary day but it sure makes us love you even more.

You make Momma brave

Hannah there is NOTHING I wouldn't do for you, I mean it! You have made me realize that I am capable of loving more, doing more, and being more than I have ever known.

As ashamed as I am to admit it Hannah, I had never been to the dentist before I had you. Not never since I moved to Montana, or since I meet Daddy, or even ever since I graduated, like never ever in my whole life. With you here though I have realized that I can do anything for you, and I don't want you to grow up to be a wimp about anything (especially the dentist). So since I knew I would one day expect you to go visit the dentist, I decided I better get myself in there. So go up the courage and I made the appointment and you know what, it really wasn't bad at all!!! Hannah together we can do anything and with the help of your daddy Hannah ANYTHING is possible.

Too Big for Momma

It makes me so sad that you are already getting so big! I feel like we haven't had enough time with the baby Hannah yet. You can crawl (or roll, or scoot) wherever you feel like going now, you eat just about anything you can get your hands on,you can hold your own cup or bottle, and love to wear your big girl jammies.

We love you Hannah.

The highlight of your day

You love to seeing your dad walk in the door and get down on the floor to play with you and the dogs.
I'm not sure who you love more!

7 Months

Hannah, I just can't believe you are already seven months old!

You love to crawl around and try to find paper to eat. You also love eating just about anything you can get your hands on but, most of all you seem to love your Dad's Sunday morning pancakes. To be honest you love just about anything your dad does, your smile just lights up the room when you see him come home from work.

You still think Moose is the funniest thing you have ever seen and have recently started feeding him little snacks from your high chair.

We love you baby girl.
